Sojutsu is the art of the spear and was the most important weapon on Samurai battlefield. The Naginata was once a large halberd used by samurai and the Sohei warrior monks, in later years it was reduced in size and was used more for home defence. The Bisento is a much larger version of the Naginata, and seems to be quite unique to Kukishinden Ryu.
This book contains all the known kata for these weapons from the Kukishinden Ryu from the Bujinkan.
