Kukishin Ryu was famous for its Bojutsu. The school can trace its history right back to the Nambukocho period when the found, Yasushimaru Kurando rescued the Emperor Godaigo. It was during this incident that Kurando's Naginata blade was cut off in battle, and he used the remaining staff to fight. From this he deveoped Kukishin Ryu Bojutsu
The book contains all the known kata for Kukshin Ryu Bojutsu, Jojutsu and Hanbojutsu as used in the Bujinkan.
