ABOUT THE AUTHOR

My name is Onosejele Oseaga-Ikuenobe but everybody calls me Jele. I created the Adventures of Koko and Jake series when I was eight years old, and I published the first set of books at the age of ten.

I come from a closely-knit family, and they encourage me to bless the earth with my talents. They have also taught me that with my books, I can make the world a better place for everybody.

My passion is to see and read more books about Africa from young African kids like me. I hope that my work will inspire other African children to not only read but also write their own stories.

I have several hobbies and interests which I enjoy during my spare time, such as reading, writing, coding, swimming and playing tennis. I also enjoy recording and editing movies and creating video animations.

I currently live in Lilongwe, Malawi with my parents, two sisters and a baby brother.
