Religious belief as it is commonly held in general and by the rational scientists in particular, is primarily non-cognitive and cannot be assimilated to fuctual and scientific knowledge . Religious belief, being subjective are insufficient for establishing the justification of the interpretation of the world. These beliefu merely satisfy the believers yearning for a deeper spiritual reality. So they have nothing to do with any kind of ratiocination, then it is not a live option . Thus it seems that the chasm between the religious beliefu and scientific enterprise, as held by the skeptics and so-called rational scientists is an Wlbridgeab le one.
