No Stone Is Left Unturned!!

As I was reading this book there were many things that impressed me. I kept thinking about how I wish I would have liked to have had a reference like this when I was a new believer in Yeshua. C.A. Huft has done a wonderful job at putting everything together in a simple and to the point work that should be in every Christian school. If I was a pastor and pastored any sort of evangelical church I would hand out Know Thine Enemy along with a Bible to every new believer. You know, I've read many books in my day and very rarely does one find a book that flows like this one does. As I was reading I would note in my mind that it would be nice if Huft would talk about what I perceived to be the next logical subject and BAM, there it was for me to peruse. Huft was smart to inject her personality into the book. Instead of reading some sort of lecture in book form, it was like I was sitting in her kitchen talking with her about all of the subjects in the book. It was nice that she gave her testimony at the front of the book because it was a pleasant introduction and when the testimony section was finished I was confident that she knew from personal experience and research about the subjects that she addresses in the book. Also, the testimony section causes the reader to feel like a good friend to the author, knowing that the author felt at ease to let the reader see her heart and personality before they ever get started. Personally, I feel that if every author did what Huft did in the beginning then book reading would experience a revolution that would make reading an enjoyable experience again. The author addresses Spiritual Warfare from A-Z and frankly, I could not think of anything that she left out of the book. It was very well thought out. Of course she gave credit to Yahweh and the Ruach Ha Kodesh for her inspiration which was refreshing to see. The research was intense and very well presented, backed up by Holy Scripture in every instance. Huft went to great extent to rebuff common myths about quite a few things. Take for instance the section on Angels. She quickly dismissed the notion that angels are sweet and childish looking with wings and such and she set aside the notion that angels are female in nature; these two things being perversions of the nature of angels that most of the population still entertains. Huft likes to present personal thoughts about matters at hand but unlike other authors who leave you wondering if they actually believe their notions, she is quick to let the reader know that those things are merely personal thoughts. I find this refreshing in that these days many authors leave you asking more questions then they have answered but Huft answers every question about the Bible, the nature of Yahweh, Satan, Angels and many other things having left no stone unturned. Personally, I think that every Christian should have this book in their library and they should read it thoroughly. If you think you know everything then Huft

Read this book, it's great!!!

This is a highly readable, delightful book. Everyone should read this book !!! It is that good!!! 'Know Thine Enemy" is both fun and profound. You'll enjoy reading it. The author has done an amazing amount of research and presents this material in an educational way that is truly FUN to read!!! Author Huft gives us insights into life's problems that can't help but be beneficial to every reader. As a professor of Comparative Religion, and holding a Ph.D. in Theology, I can state without any reservation that this is one of the best books available. I've been reading books on religion for 40 years. This was my job and my interest. 'Know Thine Enemy' is a GREAT BOOK. I can't tell you in strong enough terms how really great this book is. Only a very few books can actually change your life for the better. This is one of them. You really need to read it. I have already purchased 6 copies of this book and given them to family and friends. I'll be buying more for Christmas presents. And what a terrific present it will be. I know. I've read it. And I'm that sure.

Everyone needs to read this book! AUTHOR has done the research for you.

I couldn't put this Spirit lead book down.I've been a "born again Christian" for over 30 years and life would have been so much easier if I had had this knowlege earlier. I disagree with the critical reviewer about references to Enoch. I believe this author is a true researcher and has looked at any and all sources to gather information about our "Enemy". Wouldn't a soldier do that in the time of War? I have recommended this book to all my friends and given it to two pastors.Do yourself a favor and READ THIS BOOK.

A guide for our time.......

This is a book that has reinvigorated my awareness as to the "wiles of the devil". Author Huft is passionate in her delivery which emphasizes her sincerity and her desire to equip believers as to the ways of intelligent deception. This book was very easy to read, hard to put down, and Holy Spirit inspired. It is a book for our time and any one who seeks to better understand the spiritual war that rages against our very souls. I hope readers will embrace her conviction and truly learn to Know Thine Enemy.

One of the best books I've ever read

This book opened my eyes to Satan and how many ways he's influencing our daily lives without our knowing it. As a Christian it is a must read to be informed. If your into anything occult, read this book as a challenge and confirm your choice. Follow God or be a sucker to Satan-your choice. The author does a great job informing us to what Satan is up to and who God is. I love this book.
