Larissa Grabois composed the songs, 'Know That You're Worth It' and 'Dreamers on Air' in 2016-2017, while studying Music Therapy at Montclair State University in NJ. The lyrics of Larissa's songs painted her feelings and views regarding social issues that affect young people with special needs in general and autism, in particular, as they attempt to integrate into society. Connecting with such issues through a personal prism of a young student on the autism spectrum, in her lyrics, Larissa expressed feelings of both bitterness and hope for acceptance. She has been since then presenting her related autism awareness presentation titled, 'Dreamers on Air-The Autism Journey' at Autism and Music Therapy conferences nationwide. Larissa's dream of turning her song lyrics into illustrated picture books became a reality following a release of her music album titled, 'The Voice of Autism' (by Lara Grabois) in 2019, which included the music tracks with the same titles, available for download on all major music platforms.
