Knotted Spirals Bracelet. This tutorial will teach you five different versions of a spiral rope using various different beads. You can combine two ropes, either in the same design or two different ones, to form the knotted bracelet that gives this pattern its name, or use the rope designs individually to make a necklace, bracelet, or earrings. Beading level: suitable for everyone. It's a very detailed tutorial with lots of written instructions and diagrams. It is easy to follow and is suitable for beginners as well as more advanced beaders. All my patterns are written in English and use UK terms. The spiral rope stitch is a really versatile design. It can be very useful to use if you have seed beads that are not consistent lengths, as you will pick up more than one bead at once to form the outer loops so they just need to form the same length in total. You will make two separate ropes for the knotted bracelet so it's easy to mix and match the patterns and colours, or just make both the same. The last photo in the gallery shows several colour variations. Each rope is stitched together at the ends so you don't need any sort of unusual clasp or connector. You can make a bracelet using just a single rope, or make it longer for a necklace. This rope is really good for holding any large sort of pendant, including bought ones. You will need sizes 8 and 11 seed beads for each rope, plus for some versions you will also use 4mm round beads or bicones, size 6 seeds, 3mm or 6mm bugle beads, or stone chips. (Not all at once!) Plus you will need a necklace or bracelet clasp, earring hooks, jump rings with two pairs of pliers to attach them with, and a beading needle and thread. 41 pages including 11 pages of helpful information about beading. 30 step-by-step diagrams. 22 photos including 15 of finished work. This pattern is included in the book "Sparkle a little bit every day" by Paula Caddick available on Amazon for Kindle and in paperback.
