The Best Guide Book on Morocco

When I moved to Morocco, I bought many books to learn about the country. This was and is the best. The most helpful feature is the many pictures of things that are virtually unknown outside of North Africa. Also useful are the thumbnail histories. It is short on restaurant recommendations because outside of the major tourist destinations, Morocco is short on restaurants. The recommendations that are in the book can be trusted.

An excellent guide to Morocco

My husband and I went to Morocco without any reservations except one for a car. We travelled all over Morocco with a road map and THIS guide. It was all we needed for a most amazing trip. All of the suggestions were right on the money. The lore included was correct and insightful without being overbearing. The art direction is great too. A beautiful and useful book. Highly reconmmended. I've purchased it for friends.
