I agree with the previous reviewer. This is the best children's book I know and I am a retired third grade teacher. It is the story of two children who enter another world through a tree. They have some scary adventures there involving an evil gray pumpkin. I have an old xeroxed copy from my grandmother's attic and every year I read it aloud to my spellbound students. The last few pages are missing from my copy so I asked the children to create their own endings. I wish that someone would reissue this book so everyone could have access to it at a reasonable price.

This book is the best book that I have ever read. It started me on fantasy when I was a young child, and I will treasure it forever. I could not find my copy of the book because I gave it to my teacher in 5th grade, but now, I can finally get it. Every child needs to read this book. It is purely awesome.
