The foxes of The Kingdom of Corsac to the north, allied with the rabbits of The Kingdom of Riverine, march across the forest conquering everything in their path. When The Kingdom of Pilliga is destroyed, leaving the mice with only two options - fight or flee, it's up to one small mouse and his three companions to gather an army in the forest wilds to reclaim their home and banish the foxes of the north from The Forest of Rodentia forever.Finnit, a small mouse, is a blacksmith with big dreams of being the head knight of The Kingdom of Pilliga. He is very strong, but not quite big and chunky enough to be a Pilliga knight. Ashen, a mouse as well, is a mage and magical items craftsman. Ayla, a small fair haired mouse is a chef of great renown. Oliver is a squirrel, archer and self-proclaimed inventor who believes deeply in the possibility of friendship between squirrels and mice.

Together, they embark on a journey that will alter the course of history and change The Forest of Rodentia forever.
