Kittybear

"Meow growl." The large creature tumbled out of the empty garbage bin. The two boys, Leo and Sam, hopped back quickly. Leo exclaimed, "It's a cat " "No," said Sam, "it's a bear " He was a large animal with green eyes, brown fur, a long tail and two extra claws on his left paw. The cat/bear turned around to the boys and made the "meow growl" sound as if to say "Thanks." He crept slowly toward them saying, "meow growl." Leo and Sam knew not to approach strange animals so they continued to step back away from the large animal. The cat/bear seemed to be friendly and as he meow growled, he came closer, closer... Suddenly their mom called them for lunch and they turned around and went racing toward the house. A blur of brown fur sped past the two boys. Before they could warn their Mom, he disappeared inside the house. "What was that?" Mom exclaimed. The boys, out of breath, said in unison, "It's a cat, it's a bear " Mom pointed inside and said, "Well, let's go find him " They searched the house calling, "Here Kitty " Then, they began calling "Here Kitty, bear." (Which is how he got his name, you see.) When they had tried everything to find the creature, the last place they looked was the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom. They pulled aside the shower curtain and what do you think they found? You are right The large animal was curled up in the bathtub
