Kitty Hawk series has curse words and almost blasphemic language. Disappointed.

Ok I wanted more adventure books for my 11yo daughter and found the Kitty Hawk series. I did not see anywhere in parental reviews about curse words or using "OMG" a lot. I am very disappointed in the author for using language like this even for a 15yo character. That's not a role model for any young person to have or read about. The story could be great, the language is not. Shame on me for buying it and now having to explain why this language is being used. :(
