a great book, a great woman, very insightful

This woman's confidence and intelligence are admirable. She has incredible insight into maintaining a healthy, long term relationship based on love not obligation only. An honest and interesting read. a great book!

what fun!

growing up in the same time frame as shannon tweed, i can completely go where she's been and laud her surviving and thriving today as a result! an interesting glimpse into what makes her relationship with a bad boy of rock'n'roll tick.whatever demons have driven either one of this couple, there is an air of openness and honesty that must be healthy and refreshing not only for their fans, but a great environment in which her family seems remarkably well-adjusted for ANYone in THIS day and time. thanks for sharing!

WONDERFUL

My best Friend Donna, purchased this book, we always share books, and I read it in one night. I have always been fascinated with Playboy and Hugh Hefner, so that is the main reason I read the book. I did not know much about Kiss or Gene Simmons, except he has a big tounge. Anyway, I LOVED This book, I really respected Shannon and thought she has led an exciting life. She is also very nice to Hugh, which I appreciated. The book is full of pictures, which I love, alot of nudes ones too! Please buy this book, you will not be disappointed.

Worth waiting for....

I thought this book would never come out but it's here and worth every minute of waiting. I have never read such an honest account of a person's life. Shannon is a beautiful person inside and out. And to Gene, you're a fool for not marrying her! But seriously this book makes you look at things in your own life. Things you may not be to proud of but yet you have learned from them. Thanks to Shannon for making women feel great about our gendor and choices we have made!

Great Read!

Loooved this book! Captured my attention from page one, I didn't want to put it down. As an aspiring model/actor I was very interested in seeing the industry from an insider point of view. This gave me exactly what I needed. I would reccommend this book to anyone over the age of 13, especially if you are wanting to know what to expect in Hollywood. I also love the fact that I was able to get to know a side of the real Gene Simmons and not "the makeup and lights" Simmons.
