Good overview with catalog

This book is similar in format to Killer Whales: The Natural History and Genealogy of Orcinus Orca in British Columbia and Washington State by Ford, Ellis, and Balcomb. It provides an overview of the population concentrated in the Gulf of Alaska, Prince William Sound, and Cook Inlet and includes a large ID catalog of both the resident and transient pods studied in Alaska. Overall, a great reference.
