The brutal murder of a hospital pathologist and the seemingly natural death of a prison inmate become linked when the young, brilliant forensic pathologist Doctor Sarah Harper makes an unbelievable discovery on the cause of death. As the case progresses it becomes clear they are dealing with no ordinary criminal and the experts whose assistance they seek are clearly keen to keep the matter under wraps to protect their vested interests and it soon becomes evident that they have stumbled into a much larger plot. Now with a race against time, political forces come into play which attempt to manoeuvre the plot to their own advantage and only serve to further hamper Thompson and Harper's efforts. Kill Switch gives the reader a glimpse of the investigative process and the thrill of the chase as our unlikely heroes attempt to save millions of lives.
