Great "dip your feet in the water" book for new knitters

I've been practicing knitting stitches for a few weeks now, and a sales person at my local independent yarn store just said, "stop practicing, make your daughter a sweater already!" (or something to that effect.) So I bought this book and found the simplest, yet super cuter, cardigan I could find. Honestly, I haven't finished the project yet, but I am finding the instructions exceedingly well written, especially for a rank beginner. I can hardly wait to make more of projects in this book. Nothing is too fussy, all are stylish and modern designs.

Loved it!

This book is just what I wanted. I was looking for an easy, no-sew pattern for vests--this is the book. It's from the same authors that did "Top Down for Toddlers."

Must have kid's sweater book

There are so many designs in here and they are done for the sewing allergic folks like me. If you love to make kids'sweaters but hate sewing them up, this is the book you need. Even if you love the sewing you will find designs in here you want to make. There are different sorts of designs like the little Chanel jacket and the sweater like a jeans jacket. This book is well worth its price.
