A collection of poems and drawings created by 83 elderly people who learned how to read and write late in life at Gwaesan Dure School. The 121 pieces of poetry and artwork were created by the elderly in their late 60s to 90s. They showed great courage in learning to write, despite social pressures and personal doubts, and their work reflects their newfound ability to express themselves through words.
