Kid: A Book of Hope

The underground classic, now available in it's entirety, **Kid: A Novel of Hope**, by popular writer, Lee Parham, is the story of a very unique man, Korbin Ignatius Denali, KID, his three childhood friends, and how they go about changing an extremely chaotic world. Alternating between growing up in the Atlanta suburbs and their modern day realities, the story spins a wonderful tale of life long friendships, hard learned understandings, and a distinct possibility that tomorrow might not be as awful as some people are making it out to be.

Raised in a simple suburban neighborhood, Kid rises to world wide prominence with his Inventions, his philanthropic organization, his inspirational messages, and of course, underlying it all, the "God Thing"

From KID: A Story of Hope
"Wherever you are right now and however the world has ended up for you after the Great Collapse, this is a book of hope. It tells the story of a man, my most cherished friend, my most exhausting friend, who, depending on who is asked, was either a saint or a demon. But I know better; he was neither. He was just a man and this is his incredible story.

It is oddly insane that half of the world will be reading this book with seething anger and the other, with adoring love. But in all honestly, I think he would have approved. Fact is, I know he does. And that alone is reason to tell his story.

Even now, after all that happened and the many stories that have been told about Kid, I know the world will never accept the simple truth about the man; there are just too many people who need angels to believe in, martyrs to defend, or villains to condemn. And though he fell into those neatly packaged categories for the masses, there was much more to what he was, so much more.

We know that Kid's deliberate and well orchestrated actions led to the Great Collapse, how his introduction of Quantum Technologies changed society almost overnight, how he brought the worlds economy to its knees with Sunflower Sunday, and mostly, how on that fateful day, just over year ago, he forced the entire world into stopping for a minute and truly taking a hard look at itself. These are the known facts. But there was so much more.

And in that, I have chosen to set the record straight by sharing my version of what happened. History used to be written by the victor. Today, it is written by the opinion of the masses. And to that burning pyre, I offer my recollections.
