Khaki runs a golden childhood from upscale life on the Peninsula straight into the gutter in San Francisco's Castro and Mission Districts. When her elevator hits the bottom of the bottom, she knows, and finally gets clean and sober. Now fully-licensed as a massage therapist, Khaki puts away the money she gets for services rendered. AA and supporting friends give her purpose and goals. Khaki takes abuse in large doses from many sources, but one sadistic cop goes over the edge in pain and violence. When he shows up for a massage at her new studio near the Bradenton-Sarasota Airport, he gets exactly what he came for. But he never leaves her "Bates Motel". While all this is going on, she prepares to enter the MBA program at the University of South Florida.
