Dana Calhoun, Master teacher and author, is a native Kentuckian, born in Columbus Ohio. Dana spent most of his life in Louisville Kentucky. He is the youngest of 6 siblings. Dana received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisville in Sports Administration in 2007 and Bachelor in Career Development and Leadership from Hemingway Career and Technology School in South Carolina in 2018. He also received a Master of Arts in Teaching Learning and Behavior Disorder's from Spalding University. Dana has devoted himself to changing the lives of student with Autism and learning disabilities. He was inspired by his mother Martha Brown, a former educator to become a Special Education teacher and writer. "We have a responsibility to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to receive a high-quality education." Dana currently resides in Florence, South Carolina with his wife Detoria.
