One of greatest Christian songwriters of all time

Keith Green is one of the greatest Christian songwriters in modern history. I was still a young child when he died; I've read some of his songs stayed on the charts years after his death. His songs are clearly biblically based, though some have a personal basis (a song to his son, a song to his parents). The Ministry Years Vol.2 is my favorite of the two but I own both Vol. 1 and 2 on CD and sheetmusic.

When I was in my late teens to mid 20's and beyond, even to today, Keith Green's music has always spoken to my heart. Here I am today, 50 years old, and our 15 year old son has discovered Keith Green music, and loves it. It seems Keith's message and his music are timeless! Our son is taking piano lessons, and he really loves the song by Keith Green, "The Prodigal Son Suite", and he wanted the music to it in the worst way. I looked a lot of places for it, and when I came across this music book, which actually has the notes to the music, and not just the chords, I was elated. It made for a wonderful "stocking stuffer" for our son this past Christmas. He has begun to work on learning to play it, and is eager to be able to play the whole song, both here, and one day in heaven!
