Keeping The Watch

The origins of a family's heirloom were shrouded in mystery. The reason and meaning behind its passing from generation to generation in a specific manner were lost to the years. Why and how it was found in the possession of a certain man two years before his death was unknown to anyone.

Until now.

A family was being separated through the decision of one of Jacob Blau's sons, Nicolaus, who planned on taking his wife and children across the Atlantic Ocean to settle in Camp Springs, Kentucky. Jacob prayed that one day God would provide a means of guiding his son's family to return home. He asked for his family to be given a token which would plainly show the way to those who came after him.

God was listening.

Through various tribulations, tests of character, losses and victories the watch was kept by each generation in its turn. How well it was kept is up for your interpretation.
