Hamish's mother, the famed English sculptor India Chatterton, married to the equally famed American horror writer Balfour Bedminister, is dying of a brain tumor.In the midst of the chaos of mental and physical illness, Justin breaks free of the past and begins to perceive the possibility a different, better life.
