Keeping Faith Real

If we feel we have always lived a decent moral life or have been deeply religious we might consider ourselves more worthy of God's love than the hooker on the street corner, the dirty homeless person walking the streets, or the person caught up in adultry. We must remember when we have an attitude like this, no matter what our social and moral level, Jesus went through the same agonies of hell for you and me every bit as much as he did for anyone else. Can you understand that his love is the same for you as the most glaring of sinners. Your thoughts and ideas on who gets to inherit a place in God's kingdom has no influence at all upon the Lord. Christians cannot be holier than thou or play favortism when they are striving to live the way Christ admonished us to live.
