Keeper Chance and the Pigeon Predicament

By Alex Evanovich

Keeper and Toby are hired by a member of H.E.R.O. to help solve a problem in the third book in the adventure-filled Evil Villains International League series about good and evil, growing up, and making your mark on the world--perfect for graduates of Percy Jackson and fans of Alex Rider.

H.E.R.O. communications operative Pigeon needs to retrieve a secret message from the field--but he's failing big time. Desperate for help, Pigeon enlists the assistance of unexpected allies: Keeper Chance and Toby, both new members of the Evil Villains International League, and their friend Y.

But what seems at first like a simple task escalates into a shadowy and sinister plot, ruining the trio's plans for a lazy spring break. With danger lurking around every corner, Keeper, Toby, and Y must stay one step ahead of their many adversaries: Keeper's ferocious and feared grandmother Nana, an oddball dentist who will do anything for a dollar, and a mysterious mastermind who may have nefarious designs on Keeper.

Being a hero isn't for the faint of heart--especially when not every H.E.R.O. can be trusted. As the lines between good and evil get blurrier than ever, it will take every trick of villainy for Keeper and his friends to get home in one piece.
