40 days to a closer relationship with God

The period of Lent is a natural period for study and meditation. Those who are the most traditional and literalist may have difficulties with some of the thoughts in this book, and I recommend it more for those who are willing to have an open mind enough to listen to different perspectives. One does not have to accept all that is written if one is uncomfortable with some of the ideas. But if you are honestly seeking and are willing to allow a new perspective to encourage you to form your own ideas and possibly to find a deeper relationship with God, I do recommend this book. The first part of the book has a wealth of material on different aspects of the spiritual path. The second part has daily studies complete with study questions.
