Really good, clean examples

To understand Kata, a book is never going to be sufficient, but this one comes close in as small a package as I have seen. I prefer Kanos, Kodokan book on Throwing Techniques for the Ju-No-Kata but that book lacks the Pins and Chokes and as far as I know they did not publish any other books on the other Kata. The best source is probably the Kodokan's Youtube channel. They have all the techniques available. I would consider this book a really good 'backpack book'. Its a good one to keep in your kit if you are studying Kata and want something to reference and make notes in. The pictures and diagrams are good and represent images as well as can be done in a book.Its still a really useful book to have in your collection.
