Kassandra: A Bittersweet Romance

Young Greek Kassandra meets Christian Braun, a student, on Mykonos, Greece. The two fall in love and marry. She leaves her beloved home country to live with him in Munich, Germany. The marriage is a happy one. Kassandra's in-laws cherish her and help in every possible way so their daughter-in-law makes the transition to Germany without difficulty. Kassandra assimilates quickly and gives birth to two children. Kassandra's ordeal begins when Christian, now a committed politician, relocates his family to Augsburg.
