Beautiful story

This book is one of my childhood favorites. I tell it to my daughter now that she doesn't want to go to sleep at bedtime! I tell her about the little grumpy furry creatures with big eyes that wouldn't go to sleep and the wise blind snake. My dad gave me the whole collection as a child, and it is that very book that I keep in pristine condition (with all the rest, in Spanish all of them) and I read to her every time, along with the Muffin Muncher and Serendipity.

This one is great!

Of all the Serendipity books...if I had to choose (and I love them all) this is a classic, and probably my favorite. These books tel such great lessons and kids LOVE them too!

A part of our family for 20 years.

Kartusch has been a story I have read to all three of my children for almost 20 years. When I have a chance to read to different classes, I read this book. The message is so important I share it with adults. If anyone has a chance to find this book, please read it and pass it on to others. I feel very lucky to have a copy now that it is out of print. I plan to continue to share it with friends so that Kartusch will not disappear.
