This foreshadowed the trajectory of her career, characterized by a relentless pursuit of understanding and uncovering the intricacies of the digital world.Kara's journey into journalism started at Georgetown University, where she contributed to The Hoya, the university's original school newspaper. Always one to challenge the status quo, she later shifted her focus to The Georgetown Voice, a scruffier, more liberal alternative. Her passion for literature and journalism led her to graduate with a Bachelor of Science from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in 1984.
