This story recounts the most extraordinary year of my life. The year was 1987, I was twelve years old and I was a fifth grader at E.E. Godofredo Furtado School located in the Pinheiros district of the city of S?o Paulo. My life that year was dominated by two unique individuals, Kalinca and Ubiraja. The difficult and challenging lives of these two personalities would be a fantastic tale and fill the pages of a book all by themselves. Through the stroke of destiny all of our paths crossed that year and the details of this amazing story are so incredible that unless I lived and experienced them myself, I probably wouldn't believe them either!
