An important issue that the Founders of our great country warned future generations about was that government should not be in the business of competing with private enterprises. They understood that businesses, particularly small businesses, would drive the economy of this nation. Therefore for the central government to interfere with this kind of prosperity would eventually lead to socialism. A quick comparison between the constitutional principles and our practices today will show where we have gone astray. The remedy is simple: return to the basic principles of the Founder's formula. When we can do that we can prevent the governments of committing legal plunder that is so prevelent in our governmental systems today.
