Each chapter explains how the 'Linkage Concept' of connecting the physical evidence, crime scene, victim, and suspect together to solve the case. The objective of the lead investigator in any case is to gather enough evidence to arrest the suspect or person of interest. How does he or she go about building the case from day one at the murder scene. Lead investigators seek the moment when he or she can lock their handcuffs during the arrest around the wrist of the suspect (s) who thought they were going to get away with murder. In the end, JUSTICE and CLOSURE are what family and friends of a victim are searching for no matter how long it takes.
