Lucy Wang, a Chinese woman in her forties, leads an idyllic life in Montreal under the protective wing of her husband Patrick Harris, an English Canadian entrepreneurial millionaire whose career is on the rise and whom she loves deeply. However, her crystal castle cracks when she discovers that Patrick is having a passionate affair with an unknown woman.
