"Justice" Beverley Campbell is certainly a wonderful storyteller. As a qualified family solicitor, she found herself in the perfect position to create this riveting collection of poems in which she brilliantly uses her own experiences, as well as those of anonymous friends, family and colleagues, to illustrate and comment in a witty and sometimes outrageous way, examples of human behaviour, aspirations and even frailties.
Whilst there are juicy bits to keep us all entertained there are also observations that can resonate with each of us, causing us to reflect on our own experiences. Such is Beverley's phenomenal energy and capacity that she combines a successful career, with being a mother and devoted grandmother of two boys, along with caring for her own 98-year-old grandmother (at the time of writing). Beverley describes herself as "always trying to do her best" but in truth she is an inspiration and example to everyone who knows her.
