The Evidence of Two or Three is the second in the Justice series featuring investigator Kate Cannon Bassett. Working for the Craffe County prosecutor's office in her hometown of King's Crossing makes up a small part of her very active life. Her family and friends with their various activities and intrigues always seem to take up a great amount of her time and efforts. Incurably nosy, although she'd say "interested", Kate is at times pulled into things against her will. With a famous writer in town along with her FBI entourage would be unusual enough. But put them all right next door to Kate's family home and see how entangled she gets. Bringing her friends with her.
