"Just When I Need Him Most" by Junior Hill is a great read for the Christian in need of encouragement. The author, a long-time evangelist, shares some of his experiences for the reader to ponder when going through tough times. Some of the points covered include: 1. Our existence on earth is temporary, do not get too comfortable! 2. God is faithful, especially when we are obedient to Him. 3. We must eliminate distractions to hear God's still small voice. 4. We need to walk by faith and not by sight. 5. Unfortunately, many churches today are spiritually dead. 6. While the world focuses on outward appearances and actions, God focuses on the heart and motivations. 7. God can use whomever He wishes for His glory, often the most unlikely candidates. A good and encouraging read. Recommended.
