Peach Kelley brings a little light into the lives of everyone she works with-or so she likes to think. And she's a whiz at helping her coworkers at Millennium Gift Baskets with their romantic problems. Even though her own love life is the pits, finding a boyfriend is the last thing on her mind-until she meets the new network administrator, Adam Quinlan. Preoccupied with his own chaotic life, Quin thinks Peach is spunky, pretty...and a big nuisance. But when one of their coworkers mysteriously disappears, the two join forces to dig around for answers. For the first time ever, Peach may have gotten herself into a situation she can't get out of-falling in love.
I read Raspberry Crush and loved reading it so much I decided to read more by this author. I was not dissappointed. The author did a great job creating sexual tension between the characters so that, even though it was 2/3 through the book when they kissed, it was worth the wait. The light mystery is fun and although not realistic (as a murder mystery novel) provides interesting motivation for the characters in the book. I loved it! I can't wait to read more by this author. I highly recommend this book to people who enjoy contemporary romance novels by this and similar authors.
Hilarious tale of mystery & love at the office

Upon first meeting Peach Kelley and Adam "Quin" Quinlan seem like opposites. She is extraverted and bubbly while he is more shy and reserved. But as they become friends at work, the two get closer and soon they have something very important in common: a deep, sizzling attraction to each other. Meanwhile a co-worker (a divorced accountant who is hilariously described) seems to have disappeared--and after a blind date that PEACH set him up on! Of course she feels concerned and even responsible so with her friend Quin's help, and his access to the company computer files as he is the network administrator, Peach tries to uncover what happened to Dennis the accountant... what she eventually uncovers is both shocking and fascinating! What I liked most about this book was that all the mystery pieces fit together and there are no loose ends. Also the transition for Peach and Quin from good friends to much more than friends was both sexy and real. At the end you're left feeling optimistic for their future and happy in general. And finally--I loved the dog!!! I am off to check out Jill Winter's other books, Raspberry Crush and Blushing Pink.

Romance, mystery, sex & comedy!

This book had it all for me. It was a fast-paced, sexy romantic comedy with many suspenseful twists. Peach Kelly and Adam Quinlan (known to his friends as "Quin") couldn't be more different, but when they come together sparks fly. Peach is good natured and perky, likes to help people, while Adam keeps to himself more. He is kind hearted but more reserved, shy, a bit more serious. The two become close friends nonetheless and the dynamic between them is a lot of fun to read. They joke around a lot; Adam is often bemused by Peach's teasing and her assertiveness, and Peach thinks Adam is probably the most mysterious guy she's ever met. The story takes a fascinating turn when their co-worker, Dennis, a "sad sack" of a divorced accountant, goes missing under some unusual circumstances, which leave Peach feeling partly responsible. As she tries to uncover the mystery of what happened to Dennis, she pulls her good friend Adam along to help her, as he has access to things at work the she doesn't, and before long, the sexual tension that crackles between them becomes too much for either to ignore.... JUST PEACHY was a unique story, with great lead characters, a spicy love story, and a refreshing and energetic brand of humor that sucked me right in. I would definitely recommend it as a fun way to spend an afternoon.

what a fun book! peach was a cutie, you could feel how much she cared about the people in her life and how much she wanted things to work out for them. i liked that she wasn't a whiny complaining heroine down on herself. instead she was confident and a breath of fresh air to be around. adam was sexy!!! i go for the shy intellectual type maybe that is why i liked him so much. the two of them working together to solve the mystery was really fun, i loved watching them go from friends to lovers. a great book!
