The world famous tenor, Fabian Bauer, meets the beautiful Gabi Haas from Gottschee at the Woerthersee in Austria. It is love at first sight. When Gabi dies giving birth to their daughter, Stefanie, Fabian goes into shock and subsequently loses his beautiful voice. In this state of bitterness, he turns into a scrupulous businessman and acquires the ailing Trans Atlantic Global Airline, turning it into booming success within only a few years. Stefanie, deliriously happy to have finally found a Mama, uses various tricks to bring her dad and Tatjana together. On Christmas day, disaster strikes. One of Fabian's airplanes crashes upon landing in the vicinity of Lima. This is the beginning of Fabian's unbelievable adventure in Peru where he experiences a race between life and death.
