I Usually Don't Like Young Adult

I never read YA novels because the storylines seem juvenile and I really don't like first person narrative. This book was recommended by a friend of mine who reads exclusively YA lit and I wasn't confident going into it. That being said, I read through and immediately fell in love with the characters and their wayward story. The plot felt realistic and made me feel for the characters. I was rooting for them the whole time and it was a simple, one-day read. I would absolutely read it again on a rainy day.
