Just Being Honest

When I made the decision to write a book I did not know exactly what i wanted my book to be about. While people around me who know that I love to write have given different suggestions such as raising kids, discipline, and cooking. I wanted something that was wholeheartedly me as a whole. That is when I decided that my book was not going to be on just one thing, but multiple different topics that I have gone through, experienced, and dealt with in my own life. One important thing that I wanted in my book is transparency, I feel like in today's society we have a lack of individuals not being transparent about things in life, whether that be marriage, kids, work, and or life in general. One thing I have found is that when you look at someone, you are only getting a glimpse into their life, and while their life may look like perfection from the outside, there are struggles, demons, test, and trials that they are going through that you have no idea. Because life is hard, and if I am being honest it is not getting any easier. So when you read this book, know that you are getting a piece of my life story, the good, the bad and even at times the ugly. Everyone has a story to tell and that story is not always roses, and rainbows. Sometimes that story involves tears, heartaches and pain, but whatever your story is it deserves to be told and maybe it will help someone else who has gone through, or is going through the same thing you are. So to whoever reads this book, I hope in some way it helps you, encourages you and you realize that no matter what you go through, you are not alone in this fight called life.
