Despite the legislative and social changes that in our country have culminated in the approval of same-sex marriage, homophobia is still present in many sectors of society: family relationships, lack of self-esteem and the need to leave the wardrobe are still issues that deeply affect the Spanish LGTB community. Manuel ?ngel Soriano interviews, in this self-help book, a series of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals, paying special attention to certain aspects little studied until now: the situation of lesbians and gays over 60 years of age, sexuality and the coexistence of seropositives with partners who are not carriers of the virus or the marginalization suffered by bisexual men and women by heterosexuals and the gay community itself.
All the interviewees have responded to a similar survey model, in which they reflect on childhood and adolescence, awareness of their own sexuality, visibility, relationship with parents, militancy in groups of gays, lesbians and transsexuals and the perspectives that the future offers.
