Nice Memoir with a Look at the Life of a Genius Actress (Adults)

Great insight from an actress that honed her craft! I enjoyed this read! There are many interesting sections in this book, although I feel it gave alot of acting insight, I enjoyed the personal reflections of Cicely Tyson’s at home/family life. I found that her relationship with Miles Davis was unique but had some challenges I don’t feel I would have dealt with. I appreciate that Cicely was a Christian and was open in her memoir about her faith. I recommend that minors do not read this book due to mature content, but it is definitely interesting for adults to delve into!

Captivating Story and Quality Book

I'm a few chapters into the book and the story is just captivating. We all know the historical significance of Cicely but reading her words is an experience. The quality of the book is in great condition and is going to be added to my home decor after reading.
