Prue and Edgar are colleagues.

Friends who have begun to feel something more for each other. Their first date goes really well - they get to know each other, they fall in love... until the moment Edgar's brother Victor appears. Victor has decided to join the side of evil and intends to convince Edgar to follow him.

There are four magical families, divided according to the cardinal directions, who take turns at the Eternal Flame, passing on power over the world and its elements - each for one season.
The Northern family rules winter, the Eastern spring, the Southern summer, and the Western autumn.

The wizards live hidden from ordinary people, but also from the other families, in mutual tolerance.
Everything changes, however, when the ruler of the Southern family refuses to pass on the power of the Eternal Flame to his Western successor and instead murders him. This act sparks a war among the magical families in an attempt to seize control of the entire world - and he has secured powerful allies: one of them is Edgar's brother Victor, who could not resist the lure of power and decided to help the evil ruler.

Prue becomes a witness to a magical clash between the brothers, and so Edgar finally reveals to her that he is a wizard from the Northern family and that he must save his brother - and with him, the entire world.
But Victor doesn't wait long - he kidnaps Prue in order to convince Edgar to join his side. He cannot bear the thought of having to fight his own brother. He's willing to risk the entire world for the sake of family - to save it and bring it back together.
However, Prue is not exactly a typical victim.

After she escapes from Victor, she reunites with Edgar, who in the meantime has found allies in the Eastern family and is pleading for help from the Northern ruler - though something seems to be wrong with him. Or is it?

Through Prue, Victor realizes his mistakes and is reunited with his brother and his new allies. Together, they prepare to overthrow the tyrannical Southern ruler and restore peace and balance to the world - though that is far from simple. Just like the relationship between Prue and Edgar.

Their first date has turned into a battle for magical power.
