Eleanor and her counsellor, Elizabeth interweave between the subjects of determinism, delusional thinking and human behaviour throughout their discussions to unpick Eleanor's psyche.

Seemingly so, the weight of Eleanor's destiny is catching up on her. She ponders whether there is enough time for her to expose the surveillance state... to save herself and her family. Just a Mum is a psychological thriller which will leave the reader asking, is this reality or is this delusion?
