As a child, I spent a lot of time with my grandmother. Her house was always open and there were often people around the big table. It smelled like coffee and the laughter was loud. My grandmother, her sisters, her brother and her friends lived during the second world war. They were adults and didn't embellish their memories, but their mischievous minds kept the crispest and funniest stories. I was a good customer for all those old stories. Here is one of them!
