Dream'n 'bout Home is the expectation that our best days are yet to come if we guard our heart, know our calling, stand our watch, and finish well.The author was born in 1947 on a small farm not far from Rio, IL. He grew up in the 1950s in a place of innocence, safety, and joyful expectations of living in the USA. Stories about baseball, bicycles, go-karts, fishing, and family are told through the eyes of a child. As a teenage baby boomer in the 60's he absolutely loved cars, cruising, music, and friends. The unbelievable story of "Ole Blue," his high school car, shows how it came back into his life on three different occasions. He spent three years in the Army during the Vietnam War. He reminds us of the cost of freedom and to never forget those who paid the price. Coming home after very prideful farmer until God stepped in. the events will leave you speechless: the call into ministry as a Pastor, running from God, and the people God sent to encourage him along the way.
