All I can say is "Pwoooooit!"

Titus has written his masterpiece. We always knew Burger Lips would aspire to great literary heights.

If only the government wasn't so stupid...

A delightful book! I recommend it to anyone old enough to read and smart enough to understand what the book is actually saying. This book shows you how irrational just plain stupid our government is. For those of you who read this book and think that maybe a little less of this nonsense is needed in America, I encourage you to get some information about the Libertarian Party.

It's a unique and enlightening view of social ailments.

Titus's rhetoric is exemplary; this book is filled with dew (delightful euphemisms and witticisms) and numerous contemporary insights about humans, religion, government, science... He uses fiction as a vehicle to allow us to examine things from many viewpoints & situations. So we have dinosaurs, insects, snakes and people playing many roles to help us see. It teaches whenever several creatures repeatedly interact, we create a society. We relinquish some of our rights and resources and accept responsibilities and so rules/arrangements/structures/relationships arise. For many reasons, (lack of planning, human nature, the Horde Whisperer, ...) some/parts of these become bad/evil/irrational/insensitive/inappropriate.Like most of us, Titus indicates that the following are good: God, the Spirit of Love, Peace, Freedom, Knowledge, Sincere Prayer, Doing that which is right, Limited Government, ... and the following are bad: deception, compulsion, injustice, ...Well meaning people can implement a good social order, but then this social order can start to become less than perfect; it can migrate/transition/pervert into something ugly. Titus' work helps us to: open our eyes, to see, to think and to realize what is happening with our social/governmental/religious systems, how they go astray and what we can do about it.When we relinquish individual thinking for Crowd-Consciousness we fall prey to such things as the 'Them, Not Us' mentality and let others tell us what is right and wrong and what we should do. The desires of the Horde whisperer can then actualize.Titus shows how this happens quite often. He points out many such injustices and inefficiencies and portrays them in a unique and amusing manner.He reveals Scientology as a managed religion/science that was designed to optimally straddle the division between Church and State and to control its members and environment to accomplish the objectives of its leaders.The social answer is simple: - Love God And Others. - We should all grant each other the freedoms that we want for ourselves and expect others to do to us, what we are doing to them.It seems the we have forgotten these things, so this wake up call needs to go out. Titus is defending our freedoms and raising our consciousness.He exposes some tactics that EVIL uses to 'Legislate morality', ...: "We must Protect the Children" (so we will put a daylight curfew on you, ...) "You have the right to be drug-free"(so we are usurping your 4th amendment rights) "For the Greater Good" (we will tax, restrict, regulate & burden you)If things keep going the way they are the government will: take all of your money and feed you 2 cans of dog food per day, demand the right to inspect or disable your sex organs to make sure your not having too much or the wrong kind of sex, regulate the number of French fries you can eat because the HMO lobbyists have convinced them of the dangers of cho

Wickedly funny but also disturbing for pro-reason types

A very funny book; you'll be on the floor if you've got any sense of humor at all. If you'd like to live in a rational world, where people live in the real world as God/nature/whatever REALLY actually made it, instead of having Church and State, Hollywood and media, and so on, be telling you how their version of the "real world" works (and therefor what your proper behaviour in their "real world" is) all the time... meanwhile, butchering that real world with their wacky theories.... Well, let's just say the facts and commentary at the end of the book, after all the wacky fiction is over, will disturb you a bit. Maybe even make you angry enough to write a letter the Editor or to your Congresswacko, who knows. Anyway, I highly recommend this book! Wackiness based on our society's wackiness!!!

Makes Hamburger From Many Sacred Cows! A Hoot!

Every time they want to take your freedom away, they'll call it "freedom from" something or other. If they want to take away your freedom to make your own charity choices, they'll call it "freedom from want." (Socialists can be quite generous with other people's money!!!) If they want to put all the gays in jail, they'll call it "freedom from sin". (Those more virtuous than the rest of us are quite willing to use force to get us up to their high moral standards). As the author says, give us, then, "freedom from" all their "freedom froms"!!!! A story, yes, about frightening things that are happening now, and may happen even more, in the future, if we don't watch out. A story with memorable characters, a plot, all that stuff, the usual elements of fiction. But also a scathing political satire especially about hypocritical right-wingers who hate in the name of God. Definitely a book no one will feel neutral about!
