Fun and creative

Eldershaw has an amazing imagination! She teaches you how to recreate old jewelry, like turning an old chain necklace into a glittering necklace with as many dangling pieces as a charm bracelet. What is especially useful is her chapter on how-to projects. She shows "how to make a number of pieces form 'junk' that is not too hard to find"(p 37). Had you ever considered adding antique hardware to a necklace, for example? Or making a paperclip necklace? I bet you could share this book with your young daughter and really enjoy a day of making jewelry. LOTS of fun.
