Junior Leader Handbook is a great Scouting Resource

The Junior Leader Handbook is a fantastic resource. Bill Hillcourt was perhaps BSA's greatest author, they just don't write like that any more.The only reason I can't give this book a five star rating is the fact that the book, in its current edition, represents to discontinuation of the Patrol Leader's Handbook (another Hillcourt Classic.)The new Junior Leader Handbook seems to loose pages each time it is reprinted, never the less no troop should ever be without this guide.

Great book on Training Young Men. "Must have"book for Scouts

William Hillcourt has written the definative book on training Junior Leaders in the Boy Scout movement. Concentrates on building teamwork, useing specific leadership skills, and the "patrol method" to guide the youth into leadership positions, this book is a must for any Scout who is in, or considering a leadership role in a Troop. - Dave Tracewell
